Ayurika (b.1996)

Some event that occur directly in contact with the human body. A condition was built through that event. Ayurika was born in Grobogan, Central Java, Indonesian nationality. The body is considered as a container, memory storage and also as a revealing media to convey hidden things of life.

She believes that everyone has moments and sometimes unconsciously it leaves traces of gestures, expressions and marks on the skin. The mark can be seen as a Symbols and can be read as a sign. Her obsession to explore the body is a beginning of personal observation that lead her to create works.
